This may be the same problem you have, I have seen on quite a few forums others having the same issue but no-one has posted a work around. It appears to be a long standing issue, maybe it is USB2, USB3 thing but then I do not understand why the same PC with no changes other than a windows update worked perfectly before and does not work after. They still work as when the PC boots up all the lights light up as they should for the boot.
What I have checked so far is that in devices the power management for your USB hub (Yes mine are powered) you have to deselect the "let the PC switch off devices to conserve power". I have also gone through the power setting on all USB and Human interface devices, I did notice after the update that these were changed on some of the devices.
FYI, I have 3 X 7 port Belkin powered USB hubs and 18 GF units. My PC is a Predator G6-710 64 bit, Nvidia G-Force GTX1080, in X-Plane with all sliders to the max, frame rates are higher than 45 FPS. I am sure this is not a power or memory thing.
With X-plane you also do not need to install the Go-flight software not sure if a re-install will work but I see it should not be done and I do not want to mess up the x-plane installation as its a few days worth of download to get it all working If I do.
I guess I am a bit frustrated that no-one seems to have a solution, I would be grateful for any possible ideas on how to fix this, and I would hope this could maybe help you Roger to try something you have not and find a solution.
Regards
Andrè
