P3D 4.1 anf GFIT
Good afternoon Steve
Just recently I purchased P3D V4.1 also the PMDG 737NGX.
I downloaded the P3D version of GFIT and loaded it with no problems, although I noticed some differences when compared with FSX.
1) When loading the PMDG 737NGX, GFIT appears to load OK but the simconnect light is yellow. The log shows "Simconnect: Exception Received". .The MCP Pro, EFIS and LGT appear to be working OK, The Detective button is also grayed out. I assume this is not a problem.
2) When loading a default aircraft I get 3 green buttons but when I go into detective and do an Events Toggle it does not scroll. The LVARS Toggle scrolls but it's the same LVAR, "Time Clock Start", nothing else.
I Believe I have all the simconnects loaded (4 entries)
My operating system is Windows 10 1709. Build 16299.98
Computer is a I7 8700K
All help is appreciated.

after you loaded a default aircraft did you try to load a default profile for the MCPPro by hitting the default FS button? Otherwise there is no profile and nothing will happen.
Thanks for your response. I suspected with the PMDG 737 being hard coded that was the issue.
When I refer to default aircraft I'm talking about one of the aircraft that came with P3D in this case the Bonanza. I don't understand what you mean by "load a default profile for the MCPPro by hitting the default FS button".
Thanks again
Gordon
Not all devices have the default fs button.
I did untick "Pause on Task Switch" in P3D so the sim is running.
Can I assume, looking at Robs tutorial, that GFIT in P3D works the same as FSX?
Thanks
Gordon
Its probably that this aircraft is "quiet". Try pressing a few buttons in the VC and see if anything appears. Move your head view around in the cockpit and this will generate events.
Best wishes
Steve
That was it. Thanks to you and Slayer for your help.

If your PMDG aircraft are still not working please do the steps I recommend in this thread: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/vanillaforums/discussion/722/mcp-pro/p1
Best wishes
Steve
Did you fix your problem?
Thx
Steve
no it is nit fixed. I uninstalled GIT, deleted goflightinterce from the documents, and installed the latest Software Version, still only dashes in the mcp Pro. By the way, after the reinstall og GIT I was not asked to enter my licence again, and when starting prepar3d versiobn 4.1 I was not asked if I trust the interface.
Best regards
Peter
Assuming you have followed in the installation instructions, did you check the 5 things in the FAQ entry "My MCP PRO or MCP Advanced is not updating its display (just showing zeroes)" here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/70-faq-goflight-interface-tool.html
Best wishes
Steve
yes, I checked that. But my mcp pro is not even showing zeroes, only dashes..
Thx
Steve

New version of GIT for P3Dv4 is now available. If it doesn't work, download and try the GIT P3Dv4 64Bit.zip file.

nothing has changed with the new Version. Then I tested the 64 bit Version and Registration failed: 202!

funny, I rotated the knobs of the mcp pro while a standard plane was active and than loaded the 737NGX. Then suddenly the mcp pro was ok! Only the vertivcal speed seems to be erratic; for instance, when turning the wheel to rise the vertical speed, suddenly the speed was going down and vice versa. So it is difficult to select the vertical speed which you want to fly. Could that be a problem with the beta Version?
Best regards and once again thank you for the Support.
Best wishes
Peter
