Agreed! Best I have ever seen. Well them and Fs2Crew! Both are amazing. Bravo!
  • Will you let us know when the new version is ready?
  • New version is now available. Make sure you see in the log something about the PMDG SDK.

    Best wishes

  • Thank you Steve for the Time and Troubleshooting, now it runs perfect. On first start up a message plops up that the PMDG 737 file was modifed, after the Restart of GIT and MSFS it starts all normaly.
  • Great. Thanks for your help.
  • Switches work still no lights and the panel doesn’t even show the zeros.

Did the log mention anything about PMDG SDK? What version of FS2020 are you running (Steam, MS Store or Boxed).
  • Ms store and no it didn’t mention anything about the SDK in the Log
  • Double check in Settings, About, that you are running 4.6.1.0 version of GIT
  • Yes 4.6.1.0
  • Can you locate a file called 737_Options.ini in C:\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\pmdg-aircraft-737\work\

    Thx
    Steve
  • I have all zeros now after reinstalling and the knobs work but that’s it.
  • Yes I have it
  • Does it contain this:

    [SDK]
    EnableDataBroadcast=1
  • Do I need to add it?
  • That is strange. Quit GIT and FS2020.

Edit the 737_Options.ini using notepad and add:

    [SDK]
    EnableDataBroadcast=1

  • Ok so I did and it didn’t change anything, I went back into the .ini file and the [SDK] entry was there but the EnableDatabroadcast entry was missing. I am trying it again.
  • Still is not working same thing. Switches work no lights all zeros on the screens
  • Is the ini file read only?
  • Doesn’t say it is no.
  • Has the section remained that you added?
  • When I got into the .ini it does keep removing the enabledatabroadcast entry
  • Quit GIT and FS2020.
Rename the directory pmdg-aircraft-737 by adding old to it.
Start FS2020 and the pmdg-aircraft-737 should be rebuilt (it will take a few minutes). Get to the 737 cockpit and then quit FS2020.

Start GIT and then FS2020 and see if it updates the ini file correctly.

  • Ok it took it that time it seems to working great! Thanks for the help!!
  • Hi Steve, thank you for the new files, nearly everything is working now, but on my LGTII I can not use the flaps and gear. Installed now is version 4.6.1, with other aircraft the LGTII is working. My community is not at its originally place, I copied the folder "pollypotsoftware-flightsimio-module" to my community folder. With the previos versions of your software, the flaps handle was working with pmdg 737, but not the grear handele. Any hints?

    Best wishes

    Peter
  • Hi Peter,

You did remember to enable it on the LGT tab? If yes, I'll do some testing on the LGT II tomorrow and come back to you.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Thanks Steve,I only have the efis and MCP and both appear to be working perfectly. I did find that after loading the new files one needs to restart MSFS. After that all went well. Thanks again for your work. Danw
