I just checked and found the pages you referenced!

Didn't realize you have MSFS. I do not have MSFS. Anyway, not sure what this means: "it's not called an ini file anymore it's 737_Options no .ini and it a configuration file" .
-
In my P3DV4 installation, the file, "777X_Options.ini" (approx 3KB), is located in the installed PMDG Directory for the 777.... \Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\PMDG\PMDG 777X\.

The new version should be 4.5.1.2.

Hi Steve, FYI - Ver 4.5.1.2 fixes the bugs I encountered in the initial update V4.5.1.1 two days ago. All my modules are working correctly. (Ver P3DV4.5) Regards, Claude

Hi Steve, Probably is why you remarked it out.! :) I looked at the SDK also and suspected as much since I did not see any obvious, to me, listing. Anyway, for me it's not an issue. (Interestingly, it does work with the current version of the 777.) Best, Claude

On the PMDG forum, several posters referenced simular problems interfacing the PMDG 747 with flight control hardware and the SDK variables. Yesterday, May 10, Robert Randazzo posted the following encouraging news -- "We broke the SDK output accidentally. An update to correct this is pending. Don't do anything on your end,…

Hello Steve, I only recently installed the 747 (yet to fly the aircraft) and today installed the update into P3DV4.5 (I do not have P3DV5 installed). I am also seeing similar issues between the PMDG update, GFIT, and the Modules. Here's are some examples of what I've observed thus far: GFT8: - Assigned toggles seem to work…

Hi Steve, Thanks for the reply, but the command, "MOUSELEFTX2_WITH_OFF", did not work on the 747! Since the mouse clicks that work are "right" clicks, I decided to try the command "MOUSERIGHTX2_SLOW_WITH_OFFX2" and to my pleasant surprise it works perfectly! The visual effect is the APU Selector knob rotates to "ON", then…

My sympathies for your loss. ClaudeF

Thanks Steve, It works! I've successfully calibrated the TQ6 using the new version. (Although I do need to redo the flaps to position the lever exactly with the notches. With AXIS_FLAPS_SET only, it jumps from 20 to 30.) Claude

Thanks, Look forward to trying it! Claude

Hi Steve Just realized I can not use GIT to try calibrating the TQ6 until you release Ver 2.1.18.10 to include the missing 777X TQ6 events list. Claude
-
HI Steve, Thanks for the reply. Yes, something has changed and I'm trying to pinpoint it. I'm not sure if the TQ6 is disabled in GIT so I will check. This does raise another question. Which is "better", calibrating the TQ6 using GIT or using FSUIPC? It's time for me to re-read the GIT User Guides. Will keep you…

Hi Steve, I had a feeling that might be the issue. Not a big issue for me, but at least we know more. Thanks for the update, Claude
-
Thanks Steve, Will be interested in your findings. Claude

"OVERWING"? Well I suppose I might well have stumbled on that over time if I tried. ;-). Thanks! And we'll patiently await the next release.

Hello Steve, First, the GFIT Beta Ver. 2.1.2.0 works well and I've encountered only 2 relatively minor issues. 1) Cargo doors (all) - Thus far, I'm baffled. Can not get a LED to light correctly when the doors are either open or closed. (Not a problem with cabin doors). Any suggestions? 2) PMDG 777-300 - Opening and/or…

Mapping 500+ variables does not sound like the most "fun" thing to do. Your efforts are, however, most appreciated. - Claude

Good to know and thks! Claude

Steve, Thanks for the reply and I must apologize. Having now re-installed Beta 491 and looked more carefully, the answers to my TQ6 questions are there including the documentation ("Configuring GFTQ6 Axes"). I'm not sure what I was either looking at, for, or doing when I installed Ver 491 a few days ago and then…
