If it's the same email I received a few days ago, the GF driver is the old one from 2017. GF didn't link the new driver.

Here's some updated news (7 hours old) from PMDG. Hoping the hotfix that PMDG needs for their -300 expansion will also include the fix we're all needing to get our GF MCP working. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/511145-23jun17-most-current-information-on-p3d-v4-availability-and-conversions-for-p3d-product-lines/

There is a thread a few threads down titled "Prepar3d v4?". GIT needs the upcoming v4 hotfix to be released by LM so it will work. So until that happens, GIT will not work. On a related note, it appears PMDG needs LM to release a patch before they can release the -300 expansion of the T7. So perhaps this will help expedite…

@robains just curious if you have it working now with the version of P3D v4 before the patch? Or are you also running the beta with the hotfix the rest of us are waiting for?

Thank you for updating the GIT. I uninstalled P3D v3 just before installing v4 and I've missed the GIT functionality in the 747 and today with the T7's release. Hopefully LM will release the hotfix soon because once the 737NGX is released I'll really be getting busy. P3D v4 is truly amazing and it's rekindled my passion…

Yes, when I did the import wizard process I enabled the only two controls which were allowed (the MCP Pro and the EFIS). But they still don't work. The MCP-Pro lights up, but when adjusting any of the controls they don't register in the x737 v5. The EFIS is also not working.

By the way, I installed version 2.26 Build 4 of the GFConfig. However, this does not appear to reference XPlane at all. Is there a separate version of GFConfig I need for XP? By the way, all my GF hardware works fine in P3D and GIT for PMDG

Ok, well GIT is working. Meaning I have three green lights and my GF-MCP Pro lights up. But it's not working. I did perform the import wizard option and imported the entire .zip file. But again it's not working. Grrrrrr Any ideas?

Hi Steve, Ok, I purchased the GIT for XP, I installed it and also updated my GF drivers to version 2.26.5. When the GIT for XP starts up I can't click on Import or Detective. The buttons are greyed out. I'm unsure what to do next. I wanted to add the setup for the EADT x737

Hi Steve, Thanks for the fast response. The problem is I can't get to the settings tab. The GIT tool appears to be frozen and I can't click on the settings tab. I can't even close the app. I have to end it via task manager.

Hi Steve, My apologies for the delay. I renamed the folder I found under My Docs, then uninstalled the beta version of the GIT, then reinstalled it. I tested the A2A C172 and my PMDG T7. All work as they should. I'm a happy camper. Thanks for your help and thanks for developing these tools. Jerry

Steve, I'm importing the correct file as that is what I did in the older version of GIT. I'm not sure what you mean by "Renaming the GIT in My Documents". Can you shed more light on what you mean by this please? Jerry
