@ipearse , you need to wait for a fix from @admin_pps who is currently indisposed after a car accident. I trust he won’t mind me saying this but people need reassurance it should be fixed once he’s fit again.

Hello Peter, I don’t have either sim so I’m afraid I can’t help further. Make sure you’re running the latest version of GIT. I’ll tag Steve in the hope he can solve it for you. @admin_pps .

Peter, the fixer file looks fine. What simulator are you using? If P3D select your aircraft and let the sim load. Once the aircraft is available have a look at GIT and see if all three LEDs are green. The name of the aircraft should be visible to the right in GIT which means all is well. If that doesn’t work please provide…

@Lieni , I still can't view the file. It still appears to be a link. Choose "Attach File" then click Browse. Find the log file and select Open. I've attached a sample file which you should be able to open.

@Lieni , try uninstalling the GoFlight program and reinstalling it using Admin privileges. Then run GFWindows8Fixer also with admin privileges. Then check the GFWindows8Fixer log. Post the contents here.

@Lieni , a yellow SimConnect light indicates the three SimConnect msi installers are not all working correctly. You don’t say what sim you’re running but this applies to FSX / P3D. Steve provided help here.…

@Kenw , I remember having this problem. Have a look at the Windows8Fixer log. It should show if that run was successful. I suspect it wasn’t. What I did to resolve the problem was to uninstall the GoFlight software and reinstall it. That fixed it for me.

@Kenw , how are you connecting your GoFlight units to your computer? That is absolutely critical for correct operation. What units? Are you plugging them directly into the mobo USB ports or is a powered USB hub? This post might help you. For the record I have 8 units in total and Windows 11 recognises all.…

@admin_pps , Hi Steve. Sorry for bringing up this old topic. Could you confirm the MCP Pro and EFIS work without further user intervention please? I have used Detective to assign commands to other aircraft including FSL Concorde. Just want to know how much work is involved.

Paul, how the GoFlight modules are connected to your computer is critical. How many of what type do you have? Does Windows recognise them correctly? They really need to be connected to USB2 ports. The best way to achieve that is to buy a USB2 powered hub and plug that into a USB2 port on your computer.

Konrad, if GF Config is seeing the MCP Pro and EFIS they’re okay. I can’t help with MSFS as I don’t have it. Hopefully Steve can assist.

@konjan yes, it should be able to recognise hardware without pointing to the sim you’re using. And is that hub connected to a USB2 port on your computer? Or a USB3 with backward compatibility.
