PIC this is the setting I use for the IXEG Looks like a bug. I think Steve will have to look at the power thing. It works until the next time you load GIT and XP then I get the failed to load config for power too. It seems to be happening with other aircraft too not just the IXEG

Forgot to import events in detective ; P

Nice! Glad Martin is finally sorted. Were you able to reproduce the loading issue with loading the majestic after another aircraft or is it possibly something on my end?
-
BTW that was with a clean profile, I deleted everything and only imported the majestic so I was working with a clean slate. In the meantime I updated the profile again for Martin to test, I've removed anything that used a decimal. The heading is now read from a bespoke variable and updated in the start event so it is much…

it means if I start the sim and the first aircraft I choose is the majestic, everything is fine. If I start with a default aircraft and then switch to the majestic I start getting errors like his screenshot above. All the events error and if you look in detective they are then blank. at this point you can't shutdown GIT…
-
Like I said , there are 2 issues at play here: 1) Your system is removing the decimals when using my profile ( I can't reproduce this problem) 2)The profile doesn't seem to work anymore unless you load directly into the airplane first before anything else ( I can verify this problem on my system) at first I thought when…

mysteriously if you shut down the sim and GIT then load the sim and majestic again the profile is working and the events aren't deleted. It appears on the surface to be two separate problems or symptoms of the same problem?
-
I have the pro version too so that's not an issue. I originally started the profile and have tested it on the non pro version too. The hash codes are the exact same between versions. if you get that error don't bother trying to close every window that opens, just close GIT( ctrl alt del and close with task manager) The…

I put up a profile for the x737 v5 it's in the " User provided Bespoke Events" area LINK (download is in first post) It says MCP and EFIS but that doesn't matter the MCP still will work fine without an EFIS. Don't own the JAR A320 so I can't help you with a profile for that. But maybe another member will post their config…

Steve, the decimal problem was on Martins machine when importing. In my files the decimals were there and also in the exported files. I have tried to replicate it as well but I think it only happens because he is using German Windows? If you have the older version ( the one on the website)of my profile can you please check…

Depends on the aircraft and what datarefs they utilise. The more in depth tube liners have their own commands and datarefs to control that stuff. You'll have to do some diggin in the detective to figure out what controls it on those planes. What aircraft are you using that it doesnt work on ?
-
Sorry Cameron I hope you don't think I was talking down to you. It's hard to tell from a few posts a person's knowledge of the inner workings of the sim. Sometimes the logic you have to do to make some datarefs or commands work isn't , well, logical. :P Sometimes you have to go through the problem, sometimes you have to go…

Once you import, the mjcq400.xml the Vars file should be incorporated automatically. I wouldn't try to install the profiles from the zip file directly as it may or may not work depending on a number of things. If you hit "restart" recent changes don't seem to get saved sometimes. It's not a good idea to restart before…
-
Cameron , in GIT the ON OFF and HOLD don't necessarily mean that is what happens with what you are manipulating, they are just events to send a dataref or execute a command. The ON would send the "command" full reverser toggle , and the off would send the same thing. That would toggle it on when you hit the on position of…

I put up a poll over at the .org forum in the Goflight section. There are a lot of Mac users there maybe you can get some feedback (hope you don't mind) 4 code branches whew... I also wonder if you did go that route would then say the Windows X-Plane profiles also work on the Mac? (provided the datarefs were the same for a…
-
I tested it on mine by deleting the full GIT folder that way it wasn't trying to load anything when the sim first starts. Then import bespoke , then do the MCP and EFIS. It shouldn't matter much but do you start GIT before or after you start your simulator?
-
I should have said no current driver for Mac. Sandy did have a plugin that worked on Mac a while ago but it only supported standard datarefs and X737( the version before the 3d VC) Honestly hardly anyone flies the defaults so by now and hardly any dev uses all standard datarefs in their aircraft. There is definitely a void…

Martin give this a try.
-
I reworked the profile to get rid of the decimals. I'll upload it when I get out of work. Hopefully he can use it then.
-
I would pose that question over at the .org forum since there's very few mac users here. You will probably get a good response. Is there even goflight drivers for MacOS? If not it will be a whole new market for you and goflight because noone owns the hardware to use on a Mac.
-
It goes into the documents /goflight interface tool folder, you have to replace the existing one you have. Not sure how the name got truncated probably because i didn't zip it up. The reason its increasing by 10 is the missing decimals
-
Ya this is one of the easiest well documented ones that I've found so far, the T7 wasn't too bad but their 757 is a nightmare, barely any docs with it :/
-
Sure they work. I just don't have the hardware so didn't program them yet. The file you want to look at is in the aircrafts folder called dataref.txt (note GIT is looking for datarefs.txt so it doesn't find this but you can still open it in notepad or whatever text editor for reference. It's got everything you need to make…
-
Everything is intact but I think I found the problem. For some reason when you import the profile it is dropping the decimal on a couple of bespoke events. I compared it to mine and also had a look at what I exported and the decimals are in there. Possibly program bug or it doesn't like the decimals. I corrected the…
-
If you want I can hand edit the stuff in for you, it's not that hard. I need your bespokeEvents.xml and your settings.xml files they are in your documents/goflight folder, attach them to a post here and I'll fix them for you. For whatever reason it's not saving but this will go around the problem.
-
Glad you got it sorted. I'd keep an eye on it in the future when you do software updates.
-
Your import is failing what you have to do is pick an event that has some code in it, then the delete all will work
-
I can't answer why you would have to do it every time. Try closing your sim first then GIT
-
As a test: open your documents folder and rename or remove your Goflight Interface Tool folder to a safe location , then start GIT and your sim and see if you can import everything, soumething might be corrupted. Also try running GIT as admin
-
Delete the GIT plugin folder from your X-plane/resources/plugins folder, then install the 1.5 software again. I did have one occasion where the files weren't getting updated but either deleting that folder or uninstalling the old version and installing the new one fixed it. I'm not sure it's allowed to share files from the…
