Yes, that will be OK to do, but you can do it from the GIT 166 tab which is easier. If you change the XML file, you will need to restart GIT. Best wishes Steve

I'm assuming you are stating that nothing is showing up on the CDU display, so see the first entry in the FAQ: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/engravity-cdu-pmdg-interface/26-installation/71-faq-engravity-cdu-pmdg-interface.html Best wishes Steve

I think the MS dev team keep stand boxing the keyboard inputs, because this was working previously. I'll take another look.

On the GF166, after the Device No, you have the enabled state. Best wishes Steve

What are your event, action and custom assignments to the rotary?

For FS9 you need the GoFlight drivers which are available in the downloads section of our website. These also provide basic FSX support. If you cannot get the displays and LED's to work, then the readme file in the GoFlight drivers installation directory details how to resolve that issue. The GoFlight Interface Tool does…

Its part of the original GoFlight drivers. If you don't have them installed, its available in the website downloads area. Path is normally C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight

Can you see the FlightSimIoLua icon running in the notification area when GIT is running?
-
Try deleting the directory C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\PollyPot_Software If that doesn't work, you will need to restore form backup Douments\GoFlight Interface Tool Best wishes Steve

You have the GF166 to be enabled only when avionics are active. Try just setting it to ENABLED and see if that changes anything. Best wishes Steve

The test software only works with the MCP Pro, not the MCP Advanced. Being rack mounted makes no difference. Best wishes Steve
-
Looks like you are missing the GIT WASM module in your community folder. You can download and install it manually from your account downloads. Best wishes Steve
-
It only works with the MCP Pro. If the rotaries are jumpy they need a clean. There is a fairly recent post on here where someone successfully cleaned their rotaries. Best wishes Steve

This was dealt with a few days ago. Best wishes Steve

Make sure the GIT WASM module is still in the community folder. Aslo follow the Important section of the install instructions here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/263-installation-fs2020.html Best wishes Steve

Hello, Firstly, you ordered 2 copies of the software (check the invoice), so you were not overcharged; you made a mistake. As a gesture of goodwill I will refund one copy of the software. Secondly, having checked activation status of the software, you hadn't even activated the software when you posted the above, so how…

You are looking for 777_Options.ini and not Options.ini? According to the PMDG SDK manual EnableDataBroadcast=1 has to be added, without it GIT will never work. Is GIT showing PMDG in the aircraft tab and not GENERIC when the 777 is loaded? Best wishes Steve

If Detective does not show Events when using the cockpit controls, then the aircraft are using custom code. Always use Detective when mapping. Best wishes Steve

GoFlights drivers use the same DLL as GIT to access the hardware - its the same DLL accessing Windows USB/HID subsystem. Stabilising GoFlight hardware has always been a major issue. I had the same problems with my GoFlight airliner setup with supplied usb hubs from GoFlight using FSX (before GIT event existed). There are…

What does pressing the heading knob do in the cockpit do, such as turning on the autopilot heading?

Have you installed GIT for MSFS? You only need to download install the module if its missing from your Community folder after GIT MSFS install. Remove the module and reinstall GIT for MSFS. Best wishes Steve

In the GIT log are you seeing a PMDG Options OK entry? Have you checked you are running version 4.8 of GIT? From the PMDG 777 SDK manual (GIT should do this for you, but double check it): To enable the data communication output, you will need to open the file 777_Options.ini that is located in the 777 persistent storage…
