Hi Steve, Cleaning out the xml file entries and then running the Import Wizard fixed the problem. Thanks for the help. Robert

Some further information for you. It turns out that the GF-166 units and the EFIS work just fine. It is just the MCP Pro that doesn't light up and doesn't transmit any commands to the VC's MCP and vice versa. I know the MCP Pro is not defective because it works with my other planes in both XP11 and P3D v4.4. Thanks for the…

Yes, that is part of my existing setup. GIT worked for me with this plane until now using that profile. Either the XP11.30 update or the recent update to the FF767 changed something that caused the GIT profile to no longer work with this plane. The MCP Pro doesn't connect to the plane at all and I thought that by pasting…

I'm way over my head here and could use some guidance. I'm probably missing something very simple which is beyond my skill range. As instructed by knightracing, I loaded the FF767 and from within GIT copied his datarefs into the datarefs.txt file, which was totally blank to begin with. Then, I relaunched the sim and the…

Rob, just wondering if you're still planning to release this file or have there been some glitches? Thanks, Robert

Rob, thanks so much for this tutorial. It was worth the wait. Robert

All is working fine now. Turns out there were 2 additional tasks that were needed in addition to the 5 listed above. And using 0.1 was also key. Thanks, Robert

Hi Steve, I've tried 0.1 with each of the 5 DataRefs and no luck. How would I script all 5 DataRefs to run seriatim as they seem to do in Detective? I've tried several ways, get no response, but really don't know how to do it. Thanks, Robert

Hi Steve, I followed your procedures and that has given me back my Bespoke Events. I can import a set of Bespoke Events without crashing GIT. And thus I can restore all my work. Whew! Thanks. One anomaly, however. I found that I had duplicate entries for each event - one with all the steps (the one I imported) and one with…

I setup the program to Run as Administrator and that appears to have fixed the problem with the saves. However, the inability to import an exported set of Bespoke Events without having the program freeze up remains. And this inability to import my Bespoke Events has now become critical. When I fired up GIT this evening…

I should have added that I'm using GIT v1.8 and XP 11.

Rob, just wondering what's the status of Parts 2 and 3? I hope you've not abandoned this project. It's been very helpful so far. Thanks,Robert

Steve, I'm new to GIT and need some clarification about how one imports your Q400 files. If I'm reading your comments above correctly, you seem to suggest that one ought to use the pre-v2.5 import method which involves extracting the various xml files from the Zip, and then importing them in the order specified in the User…

Steve, I've got it now. Thanks for the assistance. Robert

OK, I will start from scratch. However, other than the "PMDG.xml" file that was apparently created when I first launched the program while running the PMDG 737, I've not been getting any <Aircraft> XML configs in my My Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool folder. There must be something more I need to do after running…
