Hi Steve, UPDATE: The Bespoke var will "save" and show up in the dropdown list on the Light Data, but ONLY after I rename another different Bespoke. i.e. Step 1 Rename Bespoke var 70 to HUD_LED_STATE Step 2 Rename Bespoke var 71 to SPOILER_LED_STATE HUD_LED_STATE will show up in the Light Data dropdown, but…

Hi Steve, Sorry for delay, got swamped ... ran more testing with GoFlight 2.26.3 Beta and GIT 2.1.18.2. Results were pretty much the same as before and as Terry described ... log text: 16:02:17 GoFlight Connection Starting..... 16:02:17 SimConnect Connection Starting..... 16:02:18 GoFlight Worker Thread Failed: Input…

I have also have GoFlight and GIT install into a non-default path ... in my case D:\GoFlight Do you want me to /log with GIT? Cheers, Rob
-
No rush ... oh I see, that's why the VS2015 runtime install. In theory a VS 2015 DLL should work in a product (P3D) built with VS 2013 ... but good idea to match up VS compiles to eliminate any possible variables. Best of luck getting the PC back and working. Cheers, Rob.
-
Thanks again for spending time with this Steve ... like other's I have donated again in appreciation of all your efforts over the years. I'll be perfectly frank with you Steve, if it weren't for GIT, I wouldn't be buying GoFlight products. Cheers, Rob.
-
The "GoFlight Worker thread failed ..." ... this is reporting an error from GFDev.dll referenced routine? So you're run-time dynamic linking to GFDev.dll? Cheers, Rob
-
Not sure what you mean running fine? Did I mis-understand your testing requests above? I runs fine with GF 2.25.2 but not with any version of GF 2.26.x. Once the GIT UI locks up, GIT will not work when P3D is running. See error "22:29:35 GoFlight Worker Thread Failed: Input string was not in a correct format. " above Cheers

Here ya go Steve from Log.txt file when GF 2.26.1 installed: 22:29:34 GoFlight Connection Starting..... 22:29:34 SimConnect Connection Starting..... 22:29:35 GoFlight Worker Thread Failed: Input string was not in a correct format. And the log file when GF 2.25.2 installed: 22:45:26 GoFlight Connection…

Yes, no P3D and no XP running at the time. Excellent ... will try 2.1.18.1 tonight and report back. Cheers, Rob.
-
UPDATE: tried the new 2.26.2 Beta ... unfortunately the issue remains, no change. I made quick video here showing what happens when I start GIT with GF 2.26.x installed. Also opened up the event viewer but that error is just because I had to use taskmgr to shut it down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irvEZp9MCeI Cheers,…

Thanks Steve, Will give it a go tonight and report back. Cheers, Rob.

Hi Steve, Couple of issues I noted while doing my GFConfig 2.2x.x installs and uninstalls and my GIT 2.1.18.0 installs and uninstalls: Issue 1GFConfig 2.26.1 install mangled my EXE.XML ... removed most of my other entries and created it's own entry which was done incorrectly (P3D caught the error and logged it).…

No immediate rush now that I have 2.25.2 and 2.1.18.0 working ... I'm not exactly sure what's in 2.26.0 and 2.26.1 ... GF report it as 2.26.1 in OS Control Panel - Installed Apps, but in GFConfig it shows 2.26.0 ... I'm guessing GF just didn't update versions in all the assembly attributes? GF suggests that 2.26.1 is P3D…
-
I have a hunch it's .NET 4.6 and Win7 64bit ... is it possible you can do a GIT build using .NET 4.5 target or are you using features only available in .NET 4.6? Or perhaps provide a build that logs startup output to file so we can provided you startup log that might give you clues ... I've had to do this before with…
-
Thanks Steve ... quick update. I was able to get GIT 2.1.18.0 working with GF 2.25.2 but none of the 2.26.x versions. As you suggested I double check my .gfc files for GF entries (devices) no longer present ... I did find one entry TQ6, but after removing it still same issue when using 2.26.x. Oddly GFConfig doesn't…
-
Hi Steve, Double checked just now, no error message is displayed. I'll try going back to GF 2.25.0 ... what components of GF does GIT depend on? Cheers, Rob.
-
Hi Terry, I didn't try going back to GF 2.25 ... but GF 2.26.0 was working with GIT 2.1.16.0, but now I can't get that combo to work either? I'll try GF 2.25 with GIT 2.1.18.0 tonight. FYI, GF 2.26.0 and 2.26.1 does work with P3DV3 "by itself" ... no issues there. Cheers, Rob.
-
Hi Steve, I'm also suffering from 2.1.18.0 just hanging ... all red lights and perpetual cursor spinning. It's actually not "hung" ... don't get the Not Responding messages, it looks more like it's stuck in an infinite loop. I'm running Win7 64bit with GoFlight 2.26.1. .NET Framework 4.6 installed and current. I'm am…

Got'em Steve, many thanks. Will test them out on the Pro Edition today. Cheers, Rob.
-
Thanks will try that out, I seem to be learning more as I go with GIT. Cheers, Rob.
-
Sorry for delay ... V3 side tracked me, now I'm trying to get the MJC Q400 to work with GIT but not having much luck ... did anyone get GIT fully operational with MJC Q400? Simeon (MJC) suggested using LUA, but I though that if LUA can do it then GIT should be able to do it also. Back on topic, I'll test out GIT with A2A…

Hi Steve, SECM seems to be fine now with Flaps. I honestly don't know why it's working now, but don't have the time to really try and figure it out right now. But appreciate you looking into this. Cheers, Rob.
-
Hi Steve, Good suggestion, I'll try the FLAP_DECR on another device like my T8 and see if that works. I am having some odd behavior with the GIT running on the 777 and Q400 with the SECM ... if I hit a switch (say landing lights) on the SECM, I get dumped to Desktop ... no errors, nothing in event viewer, nada ... just…

New PMDG events working great. Cheers, Rob.

Hi Terry, Here ya go: <Event Name="BE_APU_GEN_TOGGLE" ID="5" Backgnd="False"> <Task ID="0" Type="If" Var="O03_002_BUT" Operator="EQUALS" Value="1" /> <Task ID="9" Type="Goto" LabelID="8" /> <Task ID="13" Type="If" Var="O03_002_BUT" Operator="EQUALS" Value="0" /> <Task ID="14" Type="Goto" LabelID="10" /> <Task ID="8"…

Thanks Steve, yep that was it ... I went thru ALL the USB device/hubs some were randomly set to allow the OS to turn the device OFF ... no idea why some and not others but all corrected now. Many thanks Rob.
-
Perfect! Thanks again Steve ... got most of it down, less WXR ... will do that tonight with the new update. WP6 is working well to ... I may have to get some more T8's, they seem to work best with On/Off. USB 255 device cap ... 5 hubs at 32 devices each ... I still got room ... I think :) On a side note: I'm having odd…

Wow that was quick! Thank you Steve. Cheers, Rob.
