Rename B738.acf to b738.acf in the aircraft folder
-
There's no need to edit files in Planemaker, a straight directory rename is enough.
-
3.30e is a hotfix, an incremental update. It includes a new b738.acf so renaming is no longer necessary. Perhaps your merge did not work. Snapshot shows contents of 3.30e zip file.
-
3.30e is working OK, no longer necessary to rename the ACF file, Zibo has fixed. 3.30e is a hotfix and must be merged, easy to make a mistake. Suggest reinstall aircraft. GIT is no longer a problem.
-
Zibo is aware of the problem and says that the file was not intended to be changed, it will be fixed for the next release. I wouldn't change anything. It's not necessary.
-
It isn't being detected, that's the problem. Go into the Zibo aircraft folder and rename the B738.acf to b738.acf and it will work unless you have altered something else.
-
I have placed a message on the forum which is gradually moving down the list. Sadly few people seem to read the forum. I expect the question will be asked again.
-
OK, I found the problem. Zibo has renamed the ACF file from b738 to B738 and GIT is obviously case sensitive. I renamed it back to b738 and now everything works again. I will inform Zibo what happened and request he changes it back for future releases.
-
What name is it using? Where is it finding that information?
-
I've compared files in the GIT directory between v329 and v330 and cannot find any differences. If I load the director there are differences but I don't really understand what they mean. With 3.29 the lower window is populated with 3.30 it's empty. In the control panel window the aircraft name changes from b738 to B738…

I reinstalled GIT 2.0.14.1 after removing all of the dependencies in the system and the result was the same. It works in 3.29e but not in 3.30b. Following up on X-Plane forum Zibo thread.
-
I found the same, 3.29e works 3.30 doesn't. You can see the interface light flashing when the dials are turned so it receives a signal but it doesn't look like the right one.
-
Zibo says he has not changed the datarefs.
-
I noticed also that the EFIS range and mode selector are not working with 3.30. IAS is working under some conditions, on landing for instance but I was unable to select it for takeoff. I have posted on Zibo's thread on X-Plane to ask if the datarefs have changed.
-
No issues on x-plane 11.20 with GIT 2.0.14.0 with Windows 10 1803.
-
Thank you
-
I'm using it with 3.25B as well and it's fine.
-
Thanks David, that works really well. Appreciate the effort.
-
Thanks, that will be much appreciated.
-
Is that in your config in the downloads section? This is the one I was using.
-
Is there an answer for this yet? I would also like to see this working.
-
I must have been the first person to use that config with version 1.8. Lucky me.
-
OK, I have it working. The 737 DREDataRefs in the x737 archive is wrong. I opened the archive and replaced the file with the correct one and remade the zip. This now imports properly. I cannot understand why it worked initially, is it possible that the archive was worked on? I have downloaded it several times, maybe only…
-
That was for the SSG 747, there is only one for the x737 in downloads. Something seems to be happening during the import function. I am getting different versions of the DREDataRefs. The file (attached) DREDataRefs1 looks more likely to be correct but is getting overwritten with DREDataRefs2 on import. I have renamed these…
-
I have found that the configuration for the IXEG 737 works but the x737 doesn't, this is the one I have had the problems with. Looking at the DREDataRefs files for both it doesn't seem like the x737 is correct, it just contains a few lines that look unrelated. This is the latest version downloaded from the site, could you…
-
I'll give it a try.
-
Thanks, no luck though, I'm running out of ideas now.
-
I've now exceeded the install count and cannot register. Can you reset it for me please.
-
Running as admin didn't work. Changing to a different aircraft didn't work either. I don't understand this, I have removed every trace I can find and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. Switched back to xgoflight3 plugin which is working. Are there other hidden files that I can try to remove and then do a complete…
-
No new plugins and I have removed all the others now while I test. I am now trying again after removing x-planes preferences.
