Is there anything from the log below, that would indicate why the CDU does not work? Screen is black, nothing lights up. When I plug in the power cord, the unit does a self test, then says "test passed, going into stand by" and the screen goes dark. When I press EXEC + S, everything lights up, and all the buttons on the set up page work. As soon as I exit setup, everything goes dark again. When I plugged in the USB Cable, right away it found the CP210 drivers, and said that it installed successfully. On the Status page, The 0 CDU is green, The simconnect is green, and the aircraft PMDG 737-800NGX WL is green. 8:18:51 MainViewModel: CDU0 Starting..... 8:18:51 SimConnectWrapper: SimConnect Message Processing Started 8:18:51 LockheedMartin.Prepar3D.SimConnect.SimConnect: Start Event Received! 8:18:51 Aircraft: PMDG EnableDataBroadcast SDK option is OK in Prepar3D v4 8:18:51 Aircraft: PMDG SDK option is OK in Prepar3D v4 8:18:51 MainViewModel: Event Received: Aircraft Type Changed 8:18:51 LockheedMartin.Prepar3D.SimConnect.SimConnect: SIM, 1 8:18:51 LockheedMartin.Prepar3D.SimConnect.SimConnect: PAUSE, 0 8:18:51 AircraftInterfaceNGX: Left CDU Data Received 8:19:01 CDU0: Status Changed: Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi Steve, Thanks for taking the time to respond, and for guiding me in the right direction, There was a problem with two of the settings in the 460 tab. I found the error, corrected it, and now all is fine. Thanks again for your help. Rob
  • Hi Steve, I am still having some issues. Operationally on both P3DV4.5 and MSFS 2020, as soon as I press the A/T button, it goes on for about a second, and automatically shuts off. If I look at the 3D cockpit, at the same time, It mimmicks what is happening on the Goflight MCP. It is the same problem for both P3D and MSFS.…
  • Hi Steve, Thank you for your prompt response. Do I just download the newer versions, and it will overwrite the old ones, or do I have to delete the old ones first? If I delete the old ones, will it still save my current module settings? Please advise. Thanks Rob
  • Hi, I have a couple of issues I am looking to get resolved. I am using P3Dv4.5 Windows 10 PMDG 737NGX. 1) I believe I pressed on the GF Config file, and now when I open up P3DV4.5 I get dotted lines across the MCP as soon as P3DV4.5 is open. Once I open the PMDG 737NGX the lines turn to 0's. When I then log in to Pollypott…
  • Thanks for the advice. I actually did it using PMDG.XML and it worked perfectly. Thanks for your help as always John. Your customer service is second to none.
  • Thanks Steve for your quick reply. Where do I make the change? Is it through settings.xml or the GoflightInterface tool? if you do not mind, could you detail the proper steps for me in order? I have had a bad experience once where I thought I was doing something corrctly, but was not, and really messed things up. I am…
  • Thanks for taking the time to respond and letting me know what is going on.
  • I guess it is called Windows8"FIXER" for a reason. All Goflight modules are now " fixed" and working like they are supposed to. If excellent customer service was an olympic sport Steve, you would win a GOLD metal. Thanks again for all your help. Rob
  • Thanks Steve. That worked!! All modules are working fine except for GF166. I actually gave up on that one, and had it disconnected now for months. Any update on a fix for the GF166? It shows up on GIT, but does not display. Should it be plugged into a shared powered 2.0 USB Hub, or directly to the computer? Any suggestions…
  • I have done pretty much every fix on this forum, but I am still having problems with the "display modules" RP45, RP46, GF166. I have 8 additional Goflight modules, and they all come on as soon as you start the GIT. Just a reminder, all 11 worked perfectly in windows 7, it is only when I switched to windows 10 that the…
  • Thanks for your quick response Steve. Would you happen to know what the link to the Goflight drivers directory should look like? I cannot seem to find it, and nothing comes up when I search my computer for Windows8fixer.cmd. Your help once again would be appreciated. Rob
  • The new version solved the problem. Thank you for your help Steve. Rob
  • Hi Steve, What is the correct procedure to get it to work. Do I just download the entire software again, and it will over write the one on my computer, or do I delete the version on my computer and then download the new version, or, is there a simple patch that I have to download? Please let me know so that I do it in a…
  • Hi Steve, It still does not work, though I believe that the unit may NOT be connecting to Com3. I have another unit, VR insight overhead display. When that unit is plugged in to the USB port I believe it uses Com3. With VR insight plugged in, but not turned on, everything shows fine with the Engravity Pollypott Software 64…
  • Hi Steve. The 64 bit version is there on my account but there is no download button. Can you set that up for me so that I can download and see if the new update works? Do I need anything else from Engravity to get the CDU to work IE: specific drivers or software, or is everything built in to your interface tool? Thanks Rob
  • Hi Steve, The error message I receive (d), is FSX ini file not found. PMDG options file cannot be checked / updated. I have it now where the error message no longer comes up. All three dots are in green. Engravity CDU 0 (Green), Simconnect (Green), The aircraft is PMDG 737-800NGX WL (Green). Settings CDU 0, Comm port…
  • Hi Steve, I do have both FSX and P3DV4.1 installed on my computer. I went into the SDK as per the FAQ and there was no line that said EnableCDUBroadcast=1, so I added it in manually. I also powered up the unit with USB cable first, then the power cable. It did not help. The same FSX Ini file Not found error message is…
  • That worked perfectly - Thanks Steve
  • That would be great Steve. Thanks for all your help and Happy Holidays. Rob
  • Wow! That worked. Thanks Steve. One last question on the topic. I got the DME's (1 and 2) to work as well. It only registers in miles with no decimals. On the PFD the DME will show 1.8 miles, but on the Goflight GF46 module it shows only 1 mile. How can I set it up to show the decimal points as well, to match the PFD.…
  • Hi Steve, Thanks, But I am still having some problems. I set up the Nav 1 and Nav 2 as Stanby, and it works well. I can adjust the frequency on both. How do I toggle them over to Active, or better still how do I just set it up as active. I entered Nav 1 radio set, and it displays correctly on the PMDG radio console in…
