Goflight Modules detected but not working in the Sim
Hi guys,
I recently bought a set of Goflight module from someone, and i've been losing my hairtrying to get them to work.
I've installed Goflight Config, GoFlight Interface. I have P3DV4, the latests FSCUIPC 5. All modules are detected by my computer, they work in the Goflight Config too, and when i check the Button+Switches tab in FSCUIPC, i can see the buttons detected.
I've followed 2 tutorials on Youtube on how to configure them with Goflight Interface tool, both using and not using Bespoke events. I tried on the PMDG 737, the default Baron, and the A2A Commanche. Each times i tried maping a simple landing light switch to the first button of my GF-P8.
After all this, i can't get the buttons to work in the simulator. I used Detective to find the good command, but pressing the button doesn't do anything in the sim.
I really don't know where to look next.
Here are some information i can give, maybe this would help:
- I don't have detective available with the PMDG 737 (button greyed out)
- I never have DIO menu
- None of the lights light up on my modules when the sim is running
Do you have a lead i can explore?
Thanks a lot!

Detective is correctly disabled for the NGX as the PMDG SDK is interfaced instead.
You need a DIO board for the DIO button to be enabled.
Read the IMPORTANT part of the installation guide regarding the LED's not working: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/14-installation.html
Try configuring the P8 with the NGX P8 Example here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/37-configuring-goflight-devices-examples-pmdg-ngx.html
