Thanks Steve, will look at GFConfig tonight, but dont have FSUIPC installed yet. Am working as "plane" as possible (You see what I did there) until its working so as to avoid confusion or other outside interferrence. Only when the first item is working do I move onto the second, this time. Will let you know how it goes…

Righty-o, good news... Got it all working on P3Dv4.1 tonight.. Initial testing with the Baron 58@ 1. Programmed the TQ6 throttles and flaps, all ok... Eventually figure out the "Calibrate" button gave me full throttle.. 2. LGT2 > Bit of a nightmare figuring out the gear up/down, as its not consistent... 1 minute it works…
-
Figured that was the case... Now I've nailed down the "How to get it all working", I'll set it all up again with v4.. Thanks Steve :-)

Hmm, then thats exactly how I had it setup... GIT was installed, but never opened.. GIT was running on the slave PC, all seemed correect and working. Firewalls remained on, but AV disabled temporarily.. The only thing that actually seemed to make the difference was installing GIT on the main PC, which is when things…

I think were getting somewhere now... I installed GIT on the main PC, and did nothing else at all, and I got 3 green lights and controls started working. Not quite properly, but some are now working. Things like the LGT2, trims will work in 1 direction but not the other, gear up works but gear down doesnt. Simconnect was…

I havent installed anything else yet, did want too many cooks spoiling the broth so to speak... Clearly I need to fool GIT into thinking its on the main PC, so what would you recommend is the best way to do this? I found the dll.xml file, copy/pasted the FSUIPC entry and simply changed it to load the GoFlight Interface…

GIT is not running on the same PC as P3D... GIT Runs on Slave PC, which has all of the GoFlight kit connected to it, and nothing else.

Hi Steve Thanks mate, few questions on that... Where is the dll.xml file I be checking? (Where would it typically be found) and what should I expect to see, that if it is not there, I should put there?

Hi Steve So after a bit of a meltdown, and having to refurb the water-cooling, I replaced the slave PC for a new fast one, and set about re-installing Win10 on both, to ensure both PC's match. Over the last 2 days, I have opted for installing P3Dv3, and NOT v4, as my PC is 6 years old now. So I almost have everything…

Hello?

Hi again So, the plot thickens. After re-installing my entire P3Dv4, this time to C:\Sims instead of its normal path, and then re-installing all 4 simconnect modules on both computers, then reinstalling both GFConfig and GIT, I now have no simconnect connectivity at all. I also don't have any errors either, only this…

OK, you not going to like this, but have just uninstalled everything except the simconnect software, good detailed disk cleanup of all old files etc and am starting again.. Am only going to install P3Dv4 on main RIG and then the GIT and GFConfig on slave computer. Only when the controls are working, will I move on to…
-
Did that yesterday, installed GIT on the main P3D rig, and plugged in the USB hub with the GF hardware on it and it all started working. Oddly enough, having now installed GIT on both computers, the slave PC now gives all 3 green lights, no errors, but none of the hardware works on the Carenado Bonanza? I dont have the 737…
-
Have already done that, and am running v(4.0.28.21686) of P3D v4... Did all that before even installing GIT

Hi Steve, many thanks for getting back to me, where will I find the dll.xml file? I looked in "C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight" but there is no file of that name. However, I searched in C:\Users\rich\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin and found one there. Opened it in Notepad and see that when the GIT is installed on my main…

Essentially, yes, my network is setup as per AS2012's instructions, with the entire C drive shared out, as per-frooglesims instructions. Its much easier to share out the entire C drive, and secure as I use Avast Pro on all network machines. The only controls I have plugged into the main sim PC are the GF yoke and saitek…

Hi Steve Dont worry, I got it all working perfectly, tested it out today, and its all 100% seemingly perfect. The trick seems to be, run it in FSX mode, but make sure the Migration tool" is enabled on P3D, thus tricking the PMDG interface into thinking its connecting to FSX. Works beautifully. I have the P3D SDK installed…

Please delete, something went wrong and it double posted.

Hi Steve Seems all is now good, the LGT2 is working perfectly. I did have to change the assignments on the trim wheels though, as the "evt_" ones are too sensitive, so I switched them to "aileron trim up and down" on the "rotate" leaving action to nothing and now they seem perfect and more realistic :-) Cant thank you…
-
Thanks Steve, seriously appreciated, will go and test it out now :-)
-
WOW, awesome :-)
-
Ah haa, thanks Steve, I havent yet used or setup the "Goflight interface tool" as I have been using the "Goflight PMDG Interface" of yours instead. Can the non PMDG tool pickup the settings from the PMDG tool or do I need to re-configure the non-PMDG tool from scratch, like I did with the PMDG tool?
-
Hey Paul, are your elevator trim wheel and aileron trim wheels opposite of each other? My Elevator trim wheel works the Ailerons and the Aileron trim wheel works the Elevators... I had to set them the other way round to correct it.
-
Hi Paul Does your log file also say ""LGTII: 'A' does not contain a definition for "GoFlightLGTButtonOffEvent"?
-
Ahhh, in that case Steve, I sincerely look forward to testing your beta fix when your ready mate.. I have to say, this software is sooo much better than the none-fnctional pile-o-poo that GF provide, which for the price of the hardware, is just so abismal... If it were not for your software, I think I would be sending it…
-
It was indeed the NGX, but I thought because the LGT2 doesnt work/operate the gear at all, that this might be why if the box was empty and the log file says; "LGTII: 'A' does not contain a definition for "GoFlightLGTButtonOnEvent" "LGTII: 'A' does not contain a definition for "GoFlightLGTButtonOffEvent"

Hi Steve Cool, many thanks. Another query if I may, on the LGT tab, when I select "Device 0" > "Enabled", all of the boxes below when selecting "Button gear up" and "Button Gear Down" are greyed out and input event box has nothing in it. I have for both gear up and down.... Input event: [ON] [..............] < Empty box…

Hi Steve Many thanks mate.. Is there any sort of update notifications list to let folk know when the GoFlight interface is updated?
