Hi Ray and Steve, Just an update to close this off. Aerosoft acknowledged the unit was faulty and sent me another one, however the replacement was also faulty and I opted for a refund, which they did with no problem. With no more in stock I searched around and bought what appears to be the last remaining one in the world…

Hi Ray, Thank you for your help. That's interesting as the firmware showed up as A25 on the panel, however the test software shows "Unit1 FW v2.00" so I am not quite sure what's going on there.

Update: I have now just plugged the USB cable in without loading any drivers or FSX (basically just powering it up) and the same symptoms occurs: - press the APP button VOR LOC, ALT HOLD and A/T Arm buttons light up - press A/T Arm the VOR LOC button lights up - press V/S button the LNAV button lights up This is exactly…

Hi Steve, Problem solved! Having followed your suggestion I set Write delay and CMD delay to zero on Both the MCP tab and the Settings tab and I have had no lock ups at all.
