Thanks again for the feedback, I'll certainly keep this active on my development efforts road map. Cheers, Rob.

Appreciate the feedback, it's good to know at least one person is interested ... will need a few more folks to make it worth the effort and "affordable" (the more interest the less I would need to charge). What specific aircraft are you interested in (list is fine)?

Hi eddmariner and ckdo93, Unfortunately I'm tied up with my own business venture right now for a new company I've started called "Sim Horizon". I'm developing airports for P3D V4.4+ (and maybe XP11) and hopefully for MSFS in the near future. Since I'm basically a one person company, this doesn't give me time to work on GIT…

I was hoping to get to Cosford with Pete and friends, but sadly I'll not be in the UK until Oct 29th ... if anyone would like to meet up, I'll be in Stoke-On-Trent area for a few days Oct 29th to Nov 1st. Oh and of course welcome back John, not sure we've met/talked but if Steve likes you then I like you.
-
Oh I see, what language is your OS set to? This sounds like possibly wrong VC++ or other runtimes were installed? Assume you have the latest version of GIT?
-
Hi Anton, Can you provide a specific time reference in my video so I have a better understanding of your question? Cheers, Rob.
-
Sounds like you need to get the application handle ... i.e. FindWindowEx(Null, Null, "DCS", Null) ... making assumption "DCS" is the window class name, if there are multiples then replace Null with windows "title". However, the issue is that SendInput (or SendMessage or PostMessage) only works on the window with the…

Hi Steve, Wow, very nice ... looking forward to trying that out. Do you happen to know who the new owners are? I've got some Google Tablets/panels just waiting for these new virtual controls. Just think of the possibilities, emulate the real aircraft panels visually and all touch support, no more need for making labels or…

Ok, good to know … thanks Steve.

Hi again Steve, very odd, my download count is now 0 for both XP and P3D? They were 25 just a few days ago? Could you please reset so I can download and test your latest versions? Cheers, Rob.
-
Hi Steve, Excellent, many thanks - Rob .
-
Hi Steve, Agree on the oddity ... I've rebooted several times but GIT only seems to see one. GFConfig sees both and will allow me to change/set both so I know they aren't "locked up". Multiple GF46's have caused issues with GIT in the past, where one will lockup and all my work will be lost. No idea why GIT for XPlane 11…

I'm also getting this error message from GIT: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1t5mGRYPbur23k4xYdXMoIJcIdC3F-ajt

Steve, Bruce tried valiantly to resolve, but he ultimately called it quits and I think he sent the unit(s) back to GoFlight? Cheers, Rob.
-
Hi Bruce, I responded over on AVSIM. You may already know, but any time you run Windows8Fixer be sure to reboot your PC before using the modules. When initially setting up all the GF modules, I recommend you add ONE device at a time, run Windows8Fixer, reboot ... repeat the process for each GF module. Anyway, see my…

Exactly, you will feel the light :)

Hi Steve, I purchased a Google Tab E (on sale new) for $160 (same price as GF-T8) ... it's not the latest model but good size screen and 16GB with wifi ... so I have iOS and Android devices ready for testing your product come Xmas :) ... I'm currently using my iPad for Foreflight and VA Interface (FMC) and now my Google…

Some glitches, so got put on the back burner for now, sorry.

I know exactly what you mean, software engineers live in a world where non-software engineers think we just hit a couple of buttons and software writes itself ... it's always been an uphill struggle getting people to understand and accept the time and knowledge required to create software that actually works ... part of…
-
Excellent Steve, I figured you were super busy with this project. Let me know as soon as you have a Beta and I'll be ready to test. I agree, I think this is going to be a big win for you and lots of interest due to it's flexibility and the availability of devices are super cheap these days, even more so for used. Did you…

Wow this QW787 update v1.1.1 has some nice improvements and performance seems better. Love the pilot electric chair motion (back then to the side) ... WX is working correctly now ... just wish it had TrueGlass and RealLight to accompany FSFX Package 787 immersion. A lot of bang for the buck. Cheers, Rob.

Hi Steve, Add another event that can wipe out all my work ... I accessed the fuel and payload menu from P3D V4.2 ... didn't make any changes and hit Cancel from that window and returned where all my assignments were gone from GIT modules. Fortunately I export regularly but sadly still lost a lot of work. Rob.

Hi Steve, Yes, setting the KeyDown along with other Lvars and events did work. The KeyUp never gets triggered or is never visible to detective. I did search for all *.LUA scripts and found a few but none were related to Milviz or the KAP140 ... but all is good now without using any LUA scripts. Just need to wrap a few…
-
Hi Steve, KAP140_LuaHDG_KeyDown is not mine, none of those are mine, it's what your code detects for Lvars. I honestly don't really understand the purpose of them ... MV have some KAP140 documentation where it lists these Lvars but doesn't same anything about how to use them or what they do. MV don't provide any .LUA…

I've only experienced the lockups with the GF-46. I actually prefer the older GF-166s (have two of the black ones) but like you suggested they can be problematic. I've since updated to the newer GF-166. Which BTW you can now buy via NewEgg for about 20% lower price all the time. IMHO the issues are the GF drivers ... they…

Is the aircraft you have questions about also available for XP11? Are your questions regarding the "Detective" aspect or the settings in the actual "Modules" (T8, P8, MCPRo)? If I have the same aircraft in XP11, I might have some time this weekend to take a look but need to know more details from you and specific questions…
-
That was quick Steve! If you need me for some testing, just let me know. Don't suppose you'll be in Las Vegas June 8-11 for FSExpo? Would love to chat. Cheers, Rob.

Hi Steve, If I attempt to "Import" Bespokes from within Detective it will work without "error". However, if the bespoke file I'm importing has ID's the same as any existing ID's in my current working bespokes they will conflict when I come to assign them to a module (P8, T8, etc.). So what I've been doing is manually…

Hi Steve, sorry no screenshot, I think what happened is that the load on aircraft change happened before the save, the save did happen but after the load which then wiped out my saved values. Perhaps it might be a good idea to provide an option to Prompt user before doing any auto saves or loads from what it thinks is a…
