Deleting everything in that location cured the issue. That is a very useful step to know as I have had corruption problems like this once before. Thanks.

I did that. I was not clear enough in my note. When I said "deleted the GIT folder in Documents" that is what I meant. I dragged it out of the Documents folder and stored it elsewhere. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled all of GIT, starting the reinstall with a fresh download from your site. That is why I am baffled. Any…

I think I have answered my own question. It is the Device0, 1, 2,... selection that accommodates multiple devices of the same type.

I followed your directions and the GIT seemed to work and I reconfigured the two modules and all worked. But when I shut down the machine and later restarted, I got the following message in the attached graphic. If the backup files are also corrupted, as there may have been a backup when I exited, do I just uninstall all and reinstall the plugin and GIT and use a printout of the settings to guide me in reconfiguring the P8 and GF-46?
