Hello I wonder if the tool interface can handle this: I have the FSX-Steam with PMDG, just got a bbjsimracing 30 buttons box, it has buttons and rotary encoders, When I try to add the key in the B777 PMDG there is only keyboard option and the PMDG does not show button pressed, the box is working I map all buttons, I can not set the rotary buttons to increase/decrease IAS, HDG, V/S or Altitude. Any help is more than welcome.

Do the rotary encoders work as continuous 360 degrees of rotation or do they click into certain positions like a selector? If its a selector, I would guess they would present as a series of buttons in GIT.
Best wishes
Steve
My only concern is the rotaries as DirectX does not support such a thing. I suspect they may present as a button press when you rotate them and if they do then GIT should work with them. You may want to double check with the manufacturer that this is how they present in DirectX.
On occasion, GIT doesn't recognise certain devices but I can work with you if necessary to get it functional as it would be nice to get GIT working with these devices.

The app freezes after 2 minutes.... to close I have open the Task Manager
this was taken after start the FSX Steam and freezes again
You need to follow the installation steps even though you have no GoFlight equipment: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/14-installation.html
You will then need to enable Joysticks in the settings tab.

There is no need to do anything in GFConfig because you don't have any GoFlight gear. Just install the drivers and GIT into the same directory and it should fire up OK. Remember to enable Joysticks in the Settings tab.

GIT uses the PMDG SDK which has custom Events and Variables. Please refer to this part of the user guide to familiarise yourself with what to look for: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/36-configuring-goflight-devices-additional-information-pmdg-ngx-77x-747x.html
You will need to refer to the Input Actions guide here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/17-concepts/19-input-actions.html
Some examples here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/37-configuring-goflight-devices-examples-pmdg-ngx.html

You need to use an Input Action. If you think about using the Virtual Cockpit, a left mouse click decreases the heading and a right mouse click increases it. So use Input Action MOUSELEFT on one button and MOUSERIGHT on the other using EVT_MCP_HEADING_SELECTOR on both buttons.

I would quit GIT, then test the button and if the flaps operate then something else is configured. If it doesn't then you must have assigned the event on one of the states of the button i.e. ON, OFF or HOLD

I have assigned many events in FSX with my joystick. Is there any limitation in having a box, a joystick and a yoke all plugged in the PC together? Anyway thanks for your support, I will try again tomorrow.
Thx
Steve
Thanks for your help.
