Steve, Completely uninstalled all PMDG 747 versions, and re-installed them as per PMDG giudelines, but the issue still remains. This is unfortunate, as I fly the freighter version of the -8 all the time now. Looks like I will have to do without the GoFlight MCP and EFIS..........really too bad. Bill Clark

Steve, I tried both the 32 and 64 bit GIT's and they both failed with the PMDG 747. However, they both worked with the PMDG 737NGX and 777. Tomorrow I will true doing a full uninstall and reinstall of the 747. Bill Clark

Steve, Prior to updating to your latest version of GIT, I believe I was running a 64 bit version. Which was working for a long time with the PMDG 737, 777, and 747. One day, could have been with a Microsoft update, who knows, it just stopped working with the 747, but continues functioning with the 737 and 777. So I will…

Steve, I went back through the FAQ section pertaining to my display "dashes" issue and here is step #8: 8) If the above does not work, uninstall the aircraft concerned and reinstall making sure you use or update to the very latest version of the aircraft. Bill Clark

What is interesting, this issue doesn't affect the PMDG 737 NGX or the PMDG 777? What if I uninstall/reinstall the simconnect modules. There are 3 simconnects from FSX, and a newer one from P3D? I don't know if I can directly access the PMDG SDK.............is it possible? Bill Clark
-
Thanks Steve, You mean re-install the 747-8, and not P3D? Bill
-
Thanks Steve!
-
Thanks Steve, I figured that out yesterday..........found it on your site. It seems to be working ok with the PMDG 737, 747, and 777. I would suggest you include this info in the FAQ that addresses if you get all "dashes." as I spent a long time attempting to determine what I did wrong. Last time I used your software a…

Steve, In the past I never had to do that. How do you enable? Bill Clark

Steve, Should the .NET Framework show up in the Program and Features section of the Control Panel? BTW, I am running Windows 10. Bill Clark

Thanks for your help Bill

I attempted to purchase and I got this error message: Email already in use. Try with another email or login by going to previous step I only have one email address...........I would post it here but then I would make it public. Bill Clark

Steve, I tried to purchase and I got this message: Your IP address has been blocked because there were too many unsuccessful login attempts in a short time. Your IP address is:xxxxxxxxxx Bill Clark

Thanks Steve, I will pick up the 32-bit version of GIT for P3D v4.3. Bill Clark
-
My question is, do I need the 64-bit version of the GoFlight Interface Tool? I assume I get the basic GoFlight Driver from GoFlight? Bill Clark
-
Steve, Yes, I have the latest 2.28.0 Bill

Steve, The XML.DLL file entry looks fine. The GF Interface Module.dll is loading and appears to be running. I am able to access the tabs when I load the default Baron. However, when I launch the P3D V3 and the PMDG 747, the GF Interface tabs and other clickable buttons are completely inaccessable and the only way I can…

Steve, When I try to access MCPPRO, this tab and all the others are grayed out. The only tabs accessible are STATUS, LOG and SETTINGS tabs? Bill
-
Steve, I am running the latest version of P3D V3 and the GIT version is 3.3.0.1 In the Status view both MCP-Pro and EFIS both show a numeral 1 next to each, so I assume that means they are both enabled? By the way, where do I find the Log file? I can see it in the GIT window dialog box but cannot copy it? Bill

Steve, I've had about 5 flights without a lockup. So unless you hear from me again about this, I assume the issue is now fixed by the powered USB 2.0 Hub. Thanks, again for your advice! Bill Clark
-
Steve, Been out of town for a while! I have a powered hub that I believe is USB 2.0, so I will give that a try. So what is the issue with USB 3.0, as far as MCP Pro? Bill Clark
-
Steve and Matt, Yes I do have Firmware version A25 and the MCP-Pro is plugged into a USB 2.0 port. The default setting is as follows: Write Delay = 40 Cmd Delay = 65 Even though you say I can set the above parameters to "zero," these setting I would not think cause it to lockup? BTW - what is the latest FW version for the…
