I use buttons to start engines and T8 switches to control fuel flow. You might try that.

Something more substantial is needed. They’ve been saying that for 2 years.
-
Steve, just ask them to remove the COVID-19 notice and post something to the effect that they're still alive and business will resume. Thanks.
-
Hi Steve. Well here we are on the 17th of January and nothing has changed on the GoFlight website. The COVID notice remains and nothing has been posted on their Facebook page either. Do you have a contact you can ask what is going on?
-
The second one is better as you can assign a status to the LED so it’s on when the brake is set and off when the rake is released.
-
Brilliant!!! Thanks Steve for making contact with them. I’d given up hope we’d ever hear from them again.

I tried logging in to my account and the password wasn’t accepted. So I used the option to reset it. After entering my email a message appeared saying it was invalid. Looks like the front end is just a shell. The only thing that works is the downloads which might be the sole reason the site remains alive.

Hi Steve, if you can get any information about their plans or intentions that would be much appreciated. All my kit is still working and I need no immediate help but it would help if we knew if they’re intending to restart their business. Covid restrictions have been eased a long time ago. If nothing else it would be the…

I had 3 GoFlight executables, one more than necessary. I uninstalled both entries in CP and installed the 32-bit one for P3Dv3 and the 64-bit one for P3D v5. Now running 4.5.1.2 and all appears well.
-
Hi Steve. Will do but why three versions for P3D? A 32-bit version for v3 and a 64-bit version for v4 and v5. Why a third one?
-
For P3D v4/5? I downloaded from the list of versions and chose P3D v4/5. Maybe you’re referring to MSFS.
-
Hi Steve. I've just downlaoded and installed GIT 64-bit for P3Dv4/5. I then rebooted the PC but on launching GIT I still get a message a new version is available. The version I'm running is v3.8.2.0. It's installed to C:\GoFlight. The exe was last modified on 02/12/2020. Something has gone wrong I suspect.

Thanks Steve.
-
I missed that, thanks Andi. Let’s see what Steve says. I have no issues with the current version in P3D v5.2 HF1.
-
Thanks Andi. It appears to be for MSFS only. As I don’t have that sim I see no need to update. If the advisory message is going to keep appearing that will become annoying. Can it be turned off?
-
It needs Steve to reset your account.
-
Hi Steve. Yes, it does once I pasted all my FSUIPC button commands into the new ini file.
-
I’ve just remembered why the switches aren’t working. I programmed several of them via FSUIPC and I haven’t copied and pasted those entries into the FSUIPC6.ini. That should fix the majority.
-
GoFlight have responded to posts in their Facebook page and invited me to write to their support address which I did but have had no reply. Their website is still running so it might just be pandemic related.
-
Dave, when I bought my MCP Pro second-hand many years ago it needed the firmware updating to A25 before it would work with FSX and later, P3D. That could only be done by GoFlight but they did it free of charge and paid the return postage from the US to England. I don’t know if Pollypot requires A25 but I’m sure Steve will…
-
Yaniv, glad it works for you. Make sure you run GIT in administrator mode. That might be why the setting doesn't 'stick'.
-
This screenshot should help. Be aware the brightness difference is not huge. 0 is brightest, 15 is dimmest.
-
It’s adjustable with Steve’s GIT program. A number value from 1 to 8 if I remember correctly.
-
You could always buy a USB2 PCI card with four ports and combine it with a USB2 power hub. No need at all to sell your modules.…
-
Are they visible in Windows Printers and Devices? Are they plugged into a powered hub? Are they connected to USB2 rather than USB3 ports?
-
Hi Steve, I've found and fixed the problem. I exported the settings for both my two T8 units and on looking at the XML files I noticed Brightness for the troublesome one was set at 0. The other one was set to 8. So I changed the problem one to 8 and Identify now illuminates the LEDs. I love simple solutions! :)

Georg, I'm using 2.28 with P3D v4.5 and my two 166s are fine. What simulator are you running?
-
Hi Georg. This link will help. https://goflightinc.com/client_services/latest-software/
-
Thanks Steve. I shall download and install.
-
Nope. Is there a version number I can check.
