Hi Slayer, hows your work/life balance going - had any more time available for this QW B787 challenge ? hahahahaha ..
-
Oh, I just unzipped your file and see it requires the FFA320 Connector ..
-
Slayer, would your FFA320 Ultimate GIT profile be also usable with TouLiss A319 ? Flakster

So if I can locate and apply the rotary commands (as Slayer suggested above) then install the Lua script plugin, it may function without interrupting GIT ?
-
Hi Steve, I am using the standard GIT Baron 58 config. Brett

Hi Steve - I've attached the Lua script for managing the HDG rotational speed. Additional Lua scripts for airspeed, altitude, elev_trim, ops and vertspeed are located in a zipped folder at the X-Plane.org link in my previous post. Thx Brett dataref("TIME", "sim/time/total_running_time_sec") --dataref("HDG_AP",…

A discussion on the X-Plane HDG/OBS rapid rotational speeds may be found via this thread on X-Plane.org. It appears that Laminar have not yet had the time to include a fix, however the coding of a simple Lua script plugin by a XP.org member (see post dated 10Jan18) may have merit - albeit not specifically designed for…

Steve, I have replaced the GF-LGTII with a new unit and the GIT default trim settings now function correctly. Thx Brett
-
Okay, thanks .. I have reset the MCP Pro to FS default. WRT the TQ6 - I deleted the output/preferences folder, forced an update of X-Plane 11 and the TQ6 throttle axis returned to fully operational - the bug was with an Alabeo aircraft and nothing to do with GIT. Thx Brett

Ok thanks Steve .. I've run out of ideas. 2) Can you please provide me with a list of the correct files (a screenshot of the X-Plane folder tree would be preferred) that should be included in the GIT plugin folder (in case I am missing a file). 4) Can you attach a fresh copy of the default Beechcraft Baron 58 so I can…

BTW. if I rapidly rotate the GF-MCP HDG bug in excess of 90deg (in either direction) from the original HDG, the GIT will (more often than not) crash .. requiring a USB disconnect/reconnect plus a GIT-RESTART to reload the MCP.

Thank you Steve - I'll give that a try.

Hi Steve, Yes, the MCP Heading event action is set to rotate for both the clockwise and anti clockwise events, but there is no ability to increase the speed of rotation, which is what I am after. I wondered if you could apply a bespoke event that may provide a two-step rotational speed selection for both the HDG and…

Steve - I'll follow this up once I get my system back up and running after rebuild.
-
Okay - will do. I am mid way thru a hardware rebuild, so I'll follow up when I'm back up and running as time allows. Brett

Steve, The LGT2 unit is a number of years old now .. and I stumbled over this info just the other day. This may be the cause of my troubles. Could there be a way to manage this by applying opposite values within GIT ? Brett
-
Hi Steve, Thanks for the tips, when I can get some free time I'll give that a go. So long as the plugin is listed and enabled, everything is OK. As I mentioned, under XP11 the plugin drop down does not actually list Goflight so there may be an installation error that requires a fix my end - I'll re download your latest…

Steve - thanks for your prompt reply. I have reinstalled XP11 - this returned my rudder to full operation. GIT INSTALLATION I re-installed XP11 GIT confirming that it resides in the same folder as GPConfig.exe (as per the P3D installation guide) .. following the User Guide>Goflight Interface Tool X-Plane>Installation there…
