Hi Steve Solved thanks. I was importing both .xml files via the detective. Didn't realise about the import facility on the MCPPro tab. Paul
-
Hi Steve zip file as well Paul
-
Hi Steve Have saved as a .txt file. Paul
-
Hi Steve Won't let me upload says "upload file type is not allowed"Paul
-
Steve,1. imported A2A.xml file2. enabled MCPPRO and then imported MCPPRO.xml file.Got message "event monitoring stopped", "Lvar monitoring stopped" MCPPro displays all alight but rotaries do nothing, neither on the displays or on the acct.?Just rechecked the Aerosoft Twotter with the GIT and that works perfect! Paul

Hi Steve Brilliant, thank you. Best wishes Paul
-
Hi Steve Any update on my MESM problem? It would be great to have it working correctly. Paul
-
No Win 7 Ultimate. It's the same if I use the GIT or PMDG interface. Boils down to selecting IGN L or R on the MESM kill the RH start rotary. Selecting IGN L or R on the O'head and the RH rotary works fine. Worked ok, albeit the wrong way, (L & R swapped), before you sorted the IGN MESM.
-
Steve ok thanks, not a big issue at all just curious. Paul
-
any update?
-
Steve Something else I've just realised. If you set the IGN to L or R on the NGX overhead panel the RH start on the MESM works fine. It only stops working when you select IGN L or R on the actual MESM panel. The LED's blink when you operate ALL the functions on the MESM including the IGN. Paul

Hi Steve Sorry I'm not explaining myself properly. I thought t was going to sleep but it was my sequence that led me to believe that. I'll explain again. Load plane, panel loads with IGN set to both. All MESM functions work correctly. I then programme the FMC, set up all systems and pushback. I'd then select either IGN L…
-
Hi Steve It doesn't actually go to sleep as I thought previously because I was setting the IGN switch just before start to either L or R which kills the RH sector. The panel loads with IGN at both so it was working. So what is happening is: - IGN switch on both and the LH and RH work perfect. IGN on either L or R and the…

synchronising switches and selectors completes but I don't know what you mean by led test?
-
Hi Steve Found something interesting by mistake. The RH only goes to sleep if the ign switch is in L or R. Set to both all works perfect!! Paul
-
Hi Steve Works perfect again. Thank you. Paul

Hi Steve Re-checked last night and it is still the same. It's no problem at all just thought you'd like to know. Second issue I'm now having is with the MESM. As you may remember I had a replacement unit sent from GF. Now using GF v2.22 & PMDG 1.2.6 I sometimes have a problem with the RH rotary as follows. 1. load GF NGX…

SteveI have just upgraded from 1.1 to 1.2.5 and my LGT does not control the landing gear anymore. Trim wheel works fine but no gear up/down Paul
-
Hi Steve I've installed 1.2.5 and reconfigured all my settings. Wanted a clean start. All works fine except that I can't get any lights in the T* or P8's. I've attached my settings for the T8 runwat t?o. Switch works fine but no light. Where am I going wrong please?
-
Hi Steve I've installed 1.2.1 but lost all my T8, P8 & GF45 settings. What files do I copy over from 1.1.0 to save me having to set up all my switches & buttons again? Can you also tell me the file paths? Gone back to 1.1 and everything is there and works fine. Paul
-
that's what I thought at first but all my USB ports are self powered and the MESM shares a 7 gang powered hub with other devices which don't go to sleep?
-
Great. Thanks for the update. Also when we update the GIT can you please confirm which user files we should copy over. Is it just the "user.cfg"? Paul
-
H Steve My MESM is faulty, the LH rotary does not select OFF, so the fault lies with my hardware. Hopefully they'll send a replacement! Paul
-
Hi Steve GoFlight have sent me a test programme for my MESM. I'll let you know if it's faulty or not after I test it tonight. Paul
-
Hi Steve That's great. I will be away from my FS Computer until 3rd September so hopefully we can continue then. Once again, thank you for your support. Take care Paul
-
Hi Steve It's the same problem I had with the NGX. See my earlier post on this forum. My MESM is brand new so I don't suspect it as the problem. I'm using GF v2.22 Paul
-
Steve I didn't think I mentioned button! It's the rotary's. Using the NGX specific interface I have the left hand rotary of each of the 3 GF45's set to, auto brake, flt alt and ldg alt. Works perfect. If I set up the latest GIT, using exactly the same buttons and description, GIT takes the info but the 3 x GF's are dead.…
