You are more than welcome to try this. Default C172 Xplane. Just copy the contents of the Files into the appropriate parts of the XML files. Please Note that it is the Default C172 and NOT the G1000 Variant.

Hi mate, Not sure if this will work but I have Changed the Datarefs for the GF-166 Display to sim/cockpit2 Which are the ones Laminar tell Aircraft developers to use. You Can try it it may work

What stopped working the GF 46 ?? If you have done a windows update check your power management settings Microsoft change them back after updates (Major)

There is now a better tool than DatarefEditor Have a look at DatarefTool it allows you to search Copy and paste and trigger commands or see what commands or changes to datarefs have been triggered by your programming. Far Superior IMHO. https://github.com/leecbaker/datareftool

Those specific modules "may" return to Not Lighting Up after any windows Update - the windows registry selects these items (Including the Gf-45) for Enhanced power management. its a dataref that is a integer external power the switch swaps between a zero and a 2 for off and on and this is happening with all datarefs as previously mentioned I have edited the value in DRE and it works fine I have also used Other software to edit the value and it works fine Cheers Lee
