Success - thanks Steve.

Thanks Steve. I kind of assumed that was the issue, again. It would be really useful to be able to perhaps go through security questions online to reset automatically the count rather than to request it and then have to wait until it's sorted?

Hi Steve, The devices were still plugged into the original ports (when everything worked fine) and indeed, both are USB2 ports. Best wishes, Kevin.

**UPDATE** Hi Steve, For no reason other than trying everything possible, I unplugged the EFIS and MCP and plugged them in elsewhere. Lo and behold, now working! Weird beyond understanding! No idea why that would be the case, but I'm not complaining! I'll test when I have the time and let you know if I have any issues.…

Hi Steve, Hope you're well! Back from the US and tried above suggestion, no joy! Reinstalled both config and tool, no dashes, absolutely nothing in fact! Tool just locks up and has to be closed via task manager. I've attached a couple files that might help? Any suggestions very welcome! Cheers, Kevin.

Hi Steve, I'm now away for three weeks travelling. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll try in on my return and let you know. All the best Kevin.

Good morning Steve, Went through above, no joy. Reinstalled and no idea what's happening, but the GIT now unresponsive completely other than going around in a loop. I tried to copy the log, but it kept going around in circles so I managed to get a screen capture - see attached. I had to close it via Task Manager. Cheers,…

Hi Steve, Duh.. of course! However, I still have the same issue with cockpit open - please see log. Thanks Kevin.

Thanks Steve.

Hi Steve, funny enough, I had thought of that meanwhile. Reinstalled SimConnect, now working! Thanks again for your help, as always, appreciated! Best wishes, kevin.

Nothing working Steve.

Hi Steve, No joy! Units in USB2 sockets (checked using USBview from Windows SDK). I've no idea where to find the GoFlight drivers directory as suggested in the post you recommended. I search my whole PC and could not find such a folder. I tried with and without USB enhanced power, no difference. I only have dashes. As…

Thanks Steve. I'll do so later and let you know. I already installed the 64Bit version btw. Cheers, Kevin.

Thanks Steve!!

Hi Steve, Seems to be fine - I'll let you know if it changes. MCP PRO was set to a state of AV_ENABLED. I'm assuming that the utility I ran to try and fix SPADNext (AGAIN!!!!!), probably altered the state. Thanks Kevin.

Will do. Cheers Kevin

Hi Steve, just for your info: the upshot was that either P3D or an addon corrupted the P3D cfg file. WIDEVIEWASPECT was set to 'False' despite the option selected in P3D Options, therefore I did not have a wide screen! That solves that issue, but why GF config loads automatically when P3D is started is still a mystery. I…

OK, thanks Steve. Cheers, Kevin.
-
Hi Steve, Sorry, yes, that's what I meant. I did reinstall both the GF Config file and Interface, no joy. :-( Cheers, Kevin.
-
Thanks Steve. Just one question for you then; is there a way to stop the config tool autoloading? Cheers Kevin.
-
Hi Steve, I assumed you meant that I could change it, so I did. You're a GENIUS! It seems to work (certainly on first attempt). Hopefully it won't change the config file when I reboot in future! Thanks a million Steve! Have a great weekend! Cheers! Kevin.
-
Hi Steve, Do you mean that I CAN change the line? Best wishes Kevin.
-
Hi Steve, trust you're well! Still having a frustrating time here! I have sent the following message to SPADNext in hope of a sensible solution. For reference, I believe that the issue is certainly caused by SPADNext, not the GIT. I only wish there was a way in which I could either get SPADNext to completely ignore my…

Good morning Steve, trust you're well! I've em'd support requesting help reinstalling (registration issue). If you could please have a look and get back to me asap I'll be most grateful. Many thanks. Kevin.
-
Hi Steve, you actually wrote 'I'll get a test version of GIT out to you asap.', plus it is the end of the week (nearly!). :-)
-
HI Steve, any joy with this?
-
Thanks Steve.
-
Hi Steve, completed your suggestion; no joy. Just the same.
-
Delighted Steve, if only I knew what that meant! :-) Do you have a quick guide to show me how?
-
Hi again, no, I don't have it and I guess the link expired.
