Hi Steve, Sorry for the delay in responding. Been busy with non flight sim stuff. My plugin is dated 11/12/2023. I did set my Norton to exclude my flight sim folders, but let me make sure that all the GIT folders are excluded. I'll keep trying to chase this down. It's more a nuisance than anything else. Thanks again! Rich

I am running XP Beta 12.08 Beta 2. The latest version does not appear to have changed anything. I still have to use Task Manager to close GIT XP. Let me make sure that I have the GIT XP start up sequence and shutdown sequence correct. First, you start XP. Then start GIT XP. Now, do you shut down GIT XP before XP, or do you…

HI Steve, Wanted to let you know that I did get your email and this notice. I just have not had time to test the new software. Doing it now. Thanks! Rich Boll

Hi Steve, I was wondering if you have had a chance to look into this issue that I am having on shutdown of GIT XP? Could it be AV problem? My Norton AV interfering with some shutdown process? Thanks! Rich Boll
-
Steve, I reverted back to GIP XP 3.0.1.0 and had no issue with GIT closing on shutdown. Is there any reason for me to use ver 3.0.2.0? Thanks! Rich
-
I did clean install of GIT XP 3.0.2.0 along with deleting everything in my Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool folder. Same issue. GIT XP did close on shutdown. I got the "Not Responding" message still. Log files attached.

Hi Steve, II did find a log file in my Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool folder. That file is attached. When started GIT, it looked good, but nothing in there from the shutdown part.
-
Hi Steve, I deleted the Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool folder. No change in behavior. GIT XP still does not close when you click the "X". It still is not responding. Any thoughts? Thanks, Rich

Thanks Steve, Will do and will report back! Rich

Hi Steve, Tried another flight. Same thing. GIT XP would not close and would not respond. I actually let it run all night to see if it would close. It never did. I had to Task Manager to get it to close. Thanks, Rich

HI Steve, I did find the GIT log in the main XP12 folder. Sorry about that. The file is attached, but it doesn't provide many clues. Rich

Hi Steve, Here's what I put into the GIT XP shortcut icon/properties under Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight Interface Tool X-Plane\GoFlight Interface Tool X-Plane.exe" /log I started XP12 and then GIT XP. Flew XP12 around awhile, then I quit GIT XP first. I got the same "Not Responding" message along WIN 10…

Still having this issue with every run of GIT XP 3.0.2.0 since first installed it for XP12. This time, I even tried starting it and then ending it without ever starting XP12. Same thing. I get (Not Responding). I would like to send the Log file in for Steve's review. Where is this located? Thanks, Rich Boll

Thanks Steve! I will work on this over the weekend. Rich

Hi Steve, I apologize for not getting back to you earlier about this issue. I've been busy this fall, with the fact that I got away from Hot Start CL650. With the release of ver 1.7 for XP12, I have got back into it. I'm still having the issues with assigning the AP ENG on the FCP and the rudder trim assignments in the…

Hi Pod265, There is technical support on this site. Steve usually answers, but sometimes he's a bit busy. Give him a little time. Thanks, Rich Boll

Thanks Steve! Much appreciated!

Thanks Steve! Will do. sorry for the late response. it's been busy and I have not back into the CL350 recently. Rich

Thanks Steve, I do not have Run selected. I switched liveries in the Felis and this worked again. It could have been something with Felis, or who knows what! I did an update with the new XP11 GIT; however, the updated XP11 would start, but it only display the first green light. The other two center and right lights were…

YES...Thank you Steve. I have about $2000 worth of GoFlight hardware I would hate to see that go to waste. I have an issue with my GoFlight MCP Pro VS knob. I had some advice here to fix it. Was hoping Go Flight would be come back, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Rich

With 3.0.24, mine when kaplooie as well. The knobs work, but the MCP windows do not. The gear will not come up with LGT gear handle. Much discussion over on the PMDG forum. The MSFS version is moving away from the NGXu SDK, and as it does the GIT will stop working. No word from PMDG on the SDK release. On the one hand, I…

Hi Bigstuff, I have been using the GF MCP Pro with PMDG MSFS through the last update about two weeks ago - still awaiting the next B737 update with the new 600 and a working LNAV, VNAV, and FD. I have not had any issue with using GIT. I can use MCP Pro, EFIS, GIT, and the four unit NAV/COM module without much issue. Some…

Known problem. PMDG implemented a feature that delays the turn of the rotary Altitude knob and the display of the altitude in the PFD - the MCP altitude display does not lag and follows along with the turn of the Altitude knob. Apparently, the lag of the display in the PFD is a known B737 issue in the real airplane. Don't…

Hi Steve, Apologies for my absence in getting back to you about this issue. I'm not that up on use the finer points of GIT and Detective. Can you direct me to a video I can watch to see how to do this? I have also noticed that the CL650/pedestal/trim/rud_up and the CL650/pedestal/trim/rud_down, which control left and right…

working ok for me... Rich Boll

Hi Steve, I noticed that I did not get with you on your question. I will check it next time I fly HS CL650. So far, this is the only one of the commands that does not seem to work. Everything else can be mapped. Thanks, Rich

Sounds like in PMDG's quest for realism, they didn't consider all aspects of hardware/software interface. Sometimes, we can be too picky about things! I'll raise this again on the PMDG Forum. Thanks for your help! Rich
