  • Found the solution. I had to stop thinking about "OFF as UP, and ON as DOWN" and start thinking as "OFF as 1 and ON as 0" All is well. Merry Christmas! Roberto
  • OK Steve! Thanks! Have a good and safe weekend. Roberto
  • Steve: One more question that popped into my head. Is it possible to totally remove/uninstall GFConfig without affecting GFIT? Thanks again Roberto
  • OK! I'll try. But I'll prepare a pot of coffee first! Regards, Roberto
  • Yay!!! As my grandkids would say. Thanks Steve Regards, Roberto
  • Great news, Steve! I am sure you’d have many volunteers for any beta testing! Looking forward to get and install it. Thanks! Keep safe Roberto
  • Thank you! I will. Take good care. Roberto
  • Just to add to my post above, HiFi Simulations (makers of ActiveSky) just found a walk around the restrictions of P3Dv5.1 and released an update that is working with the sim.
  • Hello Alex. GFIT started working in v5.1 on the aircraft I listed above, without me having to do anything. But I have to be honest. That full install update to v5.1, brought me quite a few issues. Maybe only a Client one is sufficient. ActiveSky is still not working and takes away a lot of the realism I like. I spent a…
  • Hi Alex. In my set up, with a full installation of P3Dv5.1, the only PMDG aircraft that GFIT is not working on is the B737BBJ, for which Steve will eventually give us an update. For my other PMDG B737NGXu's (including the cargo version) and the PMDG B747's, GFIT is working. Regards, Roberto
  • Thank you Steve! Did all that, and all is well. Regards, Roberto
  • I just forgot to add, that when I start GFIT, I get the following message: "PMDG options file updated, if a PMDG aircraft is loadedin Prepar3D v4, please unload it and reload it!" But I don't have v4 of the simulator installed. Regards, Roberto
  • Hi Tim: I assigned the reverser button (ie when the reverser handle touches the main throttle handle, there is a switch between them that is activated) of throttle # 2, to F2, which is "decrease quickly" I think, in the simulator control options. I don't have the sim turned on right now, but I think that you select the…
  • I now get the same message Martin1210 is getting, I'm not sure if it is after GIT new version or MSFS Patch #2, as both unfortunately happened almost simultaneously in my set up. I do not seem to get the issue with lights in the MCP-Pro or other modules. Regards, Roberto
  • Translating for Guille: "I updated to version 4.3 from 4.2, however, while opening it, it tries to show the control panel and then closes, but hangs on the task administrator. Could you help me. Thanks."
  • Hi! I have recently also purchased a Honeycomb yoke, to replace the Saitek/Logitech Pro Flight Yoke I had had for a very long time. I had difficulties “calming” down the sensitivity of the latter in both elevator and aileron axes, and properly addressing the very wide aileron axis null zone, which made manually flying GA…
  • This very very helpful! Thanks! Roberto
  • There is an issue in MSFS2020 regarding the setting of values in an MCP. For example, coarse settings (10's in heading/course and 1000's in altitude) are set using the mouse scroll wheel. Fine settings (single values) are set using the left and right mouse buttons (my right button is not being recognized (??), but that is…
  • Steve: On my end, I am (very) happy to report that I finally understood everything. Modules work great in P3D and, slowly, getting to know the GIT in MSFS202. Have a great weekend! Many regards Roberto
  • Ok I think I understand. 4.1 is only for MSFS2020? I might have uninstalled the P3D version. I'l reinstall it and report back.
  • Hi Steve: I have both sims on one computer. I will keep P3Dv5 for a while. I am a Beta Tester in a product that requires that simulator. Yesterday I likely made the bad mistake of installing the latest version of GIT into a separate folder and not the one where I always had installed it before. Should I uninstall the…
  • Steve: I can now confirm that, unfortunately, none of my modules now work in P3Dv5 PMDG 737. I have an MCPRO, EFIS, TQ6, LGT II, 2x RP48, 3 x T8-2, 45, which were working together very happily, until I started to make changes for MSFS2020 yesterday. The MCPRO shows as "FSDefault" and does not recognize the airplane as a…
  • alainzu: While we wait for Steve to respond to the technical questions, in MSFS2020, in "General" options there is a setting that allows you to choose windowed rather than full screen display and that will allow you to minimize it while in use. Unfortunately I am not home to tell you exactly where you find that option. If…
  • Hello Steve! Thanks! Updated to the new version. "It's alive!!" The MCP works great. But it is one of only two modules that had the FSDefault button and reacting directly. I guess I will have to program the others myself. The LGT II, is the second one that also works, but interestingly enough, it is not recognized by MSFS…
  • My modules remain dark. I have tried several aircraft, from single engine prop, to twin turbo and jet and the B747. To all, I think obviously, it says the aircraft is generic. I enabled all the modules in GFIT and it recognized all of them. It identifies them. But the modules remain dark and non-responsive. Many regards…
  • Hi David. Other than Steve's suggestion, this is what I do. My GoFlight modules set up: 3 x T8-2 2 x RP48 LGT II TQ6 EFIS MCP PRO GF-45 GF-46 The last one, the GF-46, has basically died. It teases me sometimes with lights flashing here and there, but it doesn't work. I am thinking of replacing it with a GF-166, but…
  • Great catch frantzy. It might not be a GFIT issue at all! Regards, Roberto
  • Fantastic! It worked! Thank you again. Please take good care. Roberto
  • Hello Steve! There are no event assignments for the LGT II. In v4.5, the lever will activate the gear in any aircraft, even when the GFIT is not turned on. In v5, other than the default aircraft, I have managed to install the Majestic Q400 and A2A's Bonanza and Comanche. The lever will not activate the gear in any of these…
